Robert Pilgrim is the son of Billy Pilgrim and appears in the novel Slaughterhouse Five.


For most of his teenage years, he was a juvenile delinquent that annoyed and shamed his father. But he enlisted into the army during the Vietnam War and became one of the famous Green Berets. Billy was told that he should be proud of his reformed son. But Billy, who had grown to dislike war, was not sure if he supported the things his son was doing.
